Forever Young 5K Prom Run/Walk Rescheduled
Due to the nationwide precautions taken as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Community Action Corporation of South Texas has decided to postpone the Forever Young 5K Prom Run/Walk benefiting Meals on Wheels. This event was scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Anderson Park in Alice, TX. At this time the new date has been set for Saturday, November 7, 2020. All sponsorships and participant registrations will be saved for the rescheduled 5K. We will keep the community and current sponsors/participants updated as new event details become available. You can request an application for Utility Assistance and/or Weatherization by phone. Please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. For Weatherization Applications for Hidalgo, Cameron, Willacy, Zapata and Starr Counties call 956-787-2539. For weatherization Applications for Jim Wells, San Patricio Brooks, Duval, Jim Hogg, Kleberg, Kenedy and Webb Counties call 361-661-1300.
Teen & Parent Summit Postponed
Due to the Coronavirus Disease, the Community Action Corporation of South Texas has decided to postpone the Teen and Parent Summit that was scheduled for March 28, 2020. We are currently working on optional dates so that we can still offer this educational opportunity. The health and safety of our Teen Outreach Program (TOP) teen participants, staff, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors are very important to us. Therefore, based on all information available to us at this time, we have decided to postpone the Teen and Parent Summit.

Teens and parents that have already registered will be notified. Thank you for your understanding as we work to identify alternate dates for the event. Announcement

The Community Action Corporation of South Texas Board of Directors will have an upcoming vacancy for a Community Health Center User/Private Interest in Bee County. Applications will be accepted from June 1, 2020 – June 12, 2020. If you are interested and would like to be considered for the upcoming vacancy, please request an application at one of the following locations:

*Qualifications: Must be a registered user of the Community Action Health Center - Beeville, live in Bee County and be at least 18 years of age. In addition, the candidate or his/her immediate family may not be employed by CACOST or do business with CACOST.
