Low Income Household Water Assistance Program
Low Income Household Water Assistance Program
The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) provides emergency assistance to low-income households, particularly those with the lowest incomes, that pay a high proportion of household income for drinking water and wastewater services.
If your water/wastewater services have been disconnected or are pending disconnection, you may be eligible to receive assistance on your water bill and wastewater fees.
Proof of Citizenship or Legal Residency is required.
Income eligibility for LIHWAP is calculated at 150% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
