CACOST thanks you, Superior HealthPlan! With assistance from Superior HealthPlan, CACOST purchased a vehicle for its Meals on Wheels program. CACOST’s Meals on Wheels program delivers nourishing meals to elderly and/or disabled seniors in the counties of Bee, Brooks, Jim Wells & San Patricio. Thanks to Superior HealthPlan, this vehicle will deliver an estimated 5,100+ meals per year to 22 homebound seniors in Beeville, TX. In October 2014, CACOST was awarded $5,000 from Direct Energy via its Reduce Your Use For Good grant program! The Reduce Your Use For Good grant assists nonprofits with becoming more energy efficient so they can lower their energy bills. With the funds provided by Direct Energy, CACOST was able to purchase a new energy efficient A/C system at a site in Alice, TX.
